Haunted Trail Night

Townsend had a great Haunted Trail Night for the town, and it was a smash success. Lots of vendors, with food trucks, artisans, scary folks roaming, and even booksellers (me)!

Here's the rows of booths

I had great neighbors, like Jeanne Leary

And Nicole:

Other booths, like Dragon's Layr:

I got into the spirit (ha-ha) and posed with a new fan:

We even had a great dance troupe, who put on a show to Thriller and other songs:

Thanks to Amy Harrington, who coordinated the event for the vendors.

Busy Month

Well, we've kicked off Autumn!

Going to be a busy month. Lots of shows for those of us who write stuff that's spooky and scary.

So today I dropped off a pile of books at Tatnuck Booksellers in Westborough, MA.

Gave them all the spooky/scary for Halloween season:

Drop by there and find some good reads!

Braintree Library Panel

We had a great panel presentation at the Braintree Library yesterday, a self-publishing talk to a good-sized, enthusiastic group of listeners.

Thanks to emcee Laurie Cavanaugh of the library staff for setting this up and doing all the work of prep and cleanup.

We even had it recorded, so will post that when it's up.

Our panel was Willie Wideman-Pleasants, me, and MaryBeth McCarthy, who writes as Mdalto.

Our crowd was in-person and virtual, with people asking great questions.
Author Nicole Asselin is in the front left here, who has her fun baseball mystery series.

In the back center is author Rich Feitelberg, who writes an epic fantasy series. In front is another writer, Mo Walsh

MaryBeth playing to the crowd and camera

Me doing my thing- talking about publishing...

Had a great time and gave out good information to an interested audience. Looking forward to some of these budding writers getting their own works out.

New Bookstore!

Dropped by a new bookstore yesterday, Booktenders, up in York, Maine.

Lovely spot, alongside Route 1, with much to do up there.

Met Michelle, one of the proprietors, and after a short discussion, they'll be stocking some of my books!

Love working with indie bookstores. If you're up north, between Portsmouth and Portland, stop by and shop local!
