Author Ray Daniel Talk at the Groton Public Library

We had a great visit from Boston-area author Ray Daniel to the Groton Public Library. He came to talk about his Tucker novels, his process for writing, and much more. Like me, Ray is a member of Sisters in Crime, and he's also a honcho with the New England chapter of the Mystery Writers of America.
To see a previous interview with Ray, click here.

If you haven't yet read these fun mysteries, it's time to start, because they're fun to read, and love letters to Boston.

We had a good crowd for a weeknight- the library does s good job of getting the word out.

Janice, our co-ordinator who made this happen, introduces Ray to the crowd.

This shows how dark and mysterious Ray is. Seriously, it was a terrific talk, with many questions from the interested audience. He spoke of his path to publication, his process for writing, and cool tidbits from his experience.

Then it was time for folks to buy books and get them signed. Here are Dave and Dorothy getting theirs.

And Debra with Ray and his friend and Beta reader Tom

Janice, always a supporter of writers, gets her copy.

It was a good night, and much appreciated by those attending

  2. Great write up Dale. It was a very good night indeed. Ray is a wonderful and articulate speaker and entertained us with some hilarious stories. Storytelling just comes naturally to him. I bet he tells a mean joke....
