A lot of show appearances this month!

Been very busy this month, with a lot of appearances on media shows. Always fun to talk about my work and the craft of writing.

My time on Nicole Asselin's show Baseball, Books, and Banter-

The first show I did with Mike Sanchez on Coffee Time, where we talk about rewriting difficult scenes-

Mike liked it so much, he invited me back for the following week to talk about beta readers-

Tyngsborough Library Writer's Night out, where I chat with noted science fiction author James Patrick Kelly-

Another Chat show!

Had a great chat with Nicole Asselin on her show Baseball, Books, and Banter

She's an author who loves Boston sports, especially baseball.

She's written some good mysteries centered around the game.

And now she's the President of the local chapter of Sisters in Crime. 😀

Happy Groundhog Day

So am I going to have to do this post over and over? 😏
Love the movie and concept of Groundhog Day.
Had a good morning, so wouldn't mind...

Uh, also happy New Year...
Well January shot right by, didn't it? Riding the current timeline bullet train.
At least have started good new habits, so that's going well.

One new venue I've been selling and signing books at is our local Winter Farmer's market
I did a previous post about it, and have been going back for more days. So fun to meet new fans and get yummy treats from the other vendors.

Here's a pic from last Saturday by C. Thomas Christiano, a local artist and man about town.

Groton Library Author Show

Had a nice time at the Groton Library Author Show.

Thanks to the staff for a lovely day- and free cocoa!

Met a lot of new authors of all different genres.

Here's Leslie Howard, a historian researching Westford roots.

And Kathryn Hulick, with fun science-related books.

We even had "Ben Franklin" along with Chris Russell.

Erin McCormack- we had a great chat for a good part of the day.

Small Business Saturday

So I went up to The Bookery in Manchester, NH, to support the bookstore for Small Business Saturday.

Had a nice time, met a few new fans, and sold and signed some books.

Also met Sarah Locke, a founder and advocate for an MS charity up in New Hampshire. A great organization that deserves more support.

She's written a memoir about her painful journey, in hopes that it will give inspiration to others.

Working With Radio

Had a fun time at the at the Worcester WCUW Book Fair for Local Authors of scifi/fantasy/horror/mystery/thriller.

Thanks to Chris D of the radio station for putting this together.

He also runs the Radio of Horror radio show.

Saw some old friends and made some new ones.

Here's Janet Raye Stevens, who's trying to catch up to my book output!

And Max Folsom, who drove down from Vermont!

Jim Dyer, who's got some Lovecraft connections...

Chris Fink, definitely a horror writer, who signs books with a blood-red quill pen (and red ink). Yeah, you can tell...

Joe Bonaldi, who also writes horror

And Sarah Blanchard

News!

So much going on currently.

Found a new place to sign and sell my books.

Weston Nurseries here in Chelmsford runs a winter farmer's market, with a lot of great vendors!

Stop on by Saturdays from 10-1 for great foodstuffs and more!

I'll be there the next two Saturdays, the 22nd and 29th.

So I set up and found some new local fans. Had a great day. Folks bought books, and checked some people off their holiday gift list!

I got some delicious maple syrup from a business right here in town!

Cooking Buckets Sugarhouse has a tasty, dark strong brew this year (and it's wonderful on French toast). 😀

And another great business, Blisspoint Meadery.

Met MacKenzie Fitzgerald, poetess and children's book author

Found a tasty pad thai kit from Basil n Spice. Looking forward to that meal!

In other news, I had a chat with author Emily Karmazin for the Tewksbury Library Writer's Night Out. Recording here.

I'll be signing and selling books at the 2025 RiverWoods Holiday Fair & Artisan Market — this year at the Boulders Campus (5 Timber Lane, Exeter) from 10-2:30 on Wednesday the 19th.

And then on Sunday, Nov 23rd, I'll be at the Worcester WCUW Book Fair for Local Authors of scifi/fantasy/horror/mystery/thriller.
From 4-8, and Donations go to WCUW.

So you won't think I'm slacking over the holidays, I'll be at the Bookery in Manchester, NH for Small Business Saturday on Nov 29th, from 4:30- 6:30 (yup, two shows on the same day).

And a few more for the holidays...
