Busy Weekend

Busy weekend, especially nice weather.

This was good for attending the Boston Book Festival across from the Public Library. Huge crowd all day, and food trucks with tasty treats.

We were at the Mystery Writers of America booth.
Here's Stephen Rogers and Sarah Smith, with Connie Hambley in the recess.

Later we had our shift, with BJ Magnani, Jeanne Cosmos, and JM Taylor.

Had never been in the Public Library before. Some nice statuary.

And cool outdoor sconces.

Some Huntington News reps. Thanks to Grace Phillips (left) for a terrific interview

And James Johnson, repping El Junto, a new virtual book club app.
Sounds like it could be fun.

And on Sunday, it was up to Manchester, NH, for The Bookery, a great little Indie bookstore.
Was there with some other scary authors.

We talked a lot of shop, signed some books, and had a good time.
Thanks to Garrett for help with the event.

Our intrepid crew of stars: Scott Goudsward, Tom Deady, Chris Philbrook, and myself.

Interview out, Big Show, Blue Ribbon Win, and More!

Out today- my interview from Bonnar Spring on The Crime Wave show!

Had a good time at the Great New England Fall Craft Show.

Met a lot of nice people and new fans, signed a lot of books.

My setup there

Here's the booth of KD Mason, another writer of mysteries.

And William Price, with some fantasy titles

One more writer, Linda Kepner

Big show, with many booths

And one vendor, getting into the Halloween spirit!

Monday was the NE Library Association conference in Portland, Maine.
Was at the Sisters in Crime table with Gabi Stiteler and Leslie Wheeler.

Apparently, we were so engaging at chatting attendees up, we won the Blue Ribbon for Excellence!

I moderated a Zoom chat with Liz Mugavero (Cate Conte) for the Tewksbury Library Writer's Night Out.

Then to the Mystery Writers of America booth at the Boston Book Fest on Saturday the 26th.

And on Sunday the 27th, join me and some cool writers of scary stuff Chris Philbrook, Tom Deady, and Scott Goudsward at The Bookery in Manchester, NH.

It's a lovely, cozy, intimate bookstore

Nice night of a literary chat

The next day, I was guesting on The Crime Wave podcast of Bonnar Spring. Will be out next Tuesday!

Sisters in Crime Panel, Red Sox, and Upcoming Show

October is a fun and busy month.

Last night, we did a Sisters in Crime panel for the Joshua Hyde Library in Sturbridge, MA. Thanks to Tasha and the Friends of the Library for the opportunity, and to Max Folsom and Coralie Jensen, my fellow panelists.

Between the phone and computer, devices decided not to show the pics I'd taken. Hmph.

Tomorrow night, I'll be selling and signing books at the Townsend Haunted Trail, fun pre-Halloween stuff.

Here's a post from the one we did last year.

Recently, celebrated the last home game, thanks to some donated tickets. End of the season for the Red Sox. Been quite some time since I was at Fenway.

Great seats, great game- they won! No post-season- we'll get 'em next year.

Much more coming up in the next few weeks.
